Your vision deserves an operation built to support it.

You need someone embedded in your operations that is thinking strategically, owning the roadmap, and proactively building the systems your next stage of growth requires.

From the outside, everything looks like it's working perfectly.

But you're still the one making operational decisions that shouldn't need you.

Still the one people come to when something falls through the cracks.

Still the person holding the operational picture together in your head because nobody else fully owns it.

You're the CEO and the COO and you have been for a while.

That works up to a point. But it has a ceiling. Because the more your business grows, the more operational complexity it generates and the more of your attention it pulls away from the work only you can do.

Your team is capable. Your vision is clear. What's missing is someone who owns the operational side with the same level of seriousness and strategic thinking that you bring to everything else.

Not someone to manage tasks. Someone to lead your operations.

What is a Fractional COO?

A Fractional COO is an experienced operational leader who works with your business on a part-time basis, giving you senior-level strategic and operational expertise without the cost of a full-time hire.

A full-time Operations Director costs upwards of £80,000 a year before employer costs and recruitment fees. A Fractional COO gives you the same level of thinking and leadership at a fraction of that investment, with the flexibility to scale the engagement as your business grows.

But not all Fractional COOs work the same way.

Some advise. Some oversee. Some hand you a report and leave you to implement it.

I do things differently.

How I Work

I work embedded in your business as a genuine operational partner.

That means I'm thinking about your operations continuously, owning the roadmap, and bringing solutions to you proactively rather than waiting to be asked.

What that looks like in practice is custom to every client.

It might include regular strategy calls, attendance at team meetings, operational roadmap ownership, and direct message access between sessions.

The structure is built around what your business actually needs, not a fixed package.

What stays consistent across every engagement is this: I combine the strategic thinking with hands-on implementation. I don't just tell you what needs building. I build it.

For founders who don't have a large internal operations team, that end-to-end approach makes all the difference. You get the thinking and the doing from the same person and nothing falls into the gap between strategy and execution.

This might be the right fit if...

  • You're an established business owner who is ready to bring in someone experienced to lead the operational side of your business work rather than manage it yourself.
  • You're the operational bottleneck. Too much knowledge lives with you. Your team can't move without your input. You can't step back without something going wrong.
  • You're at a significant inflection point. A major hire, a new offer, a rebrand, a platform change, a shift in how you work. These moments create operational complexity that needs someone experienced at the helm.
  • You've tried fixing it in pieces and it hasn't worked. Projects get completed but nothing joins up. The same problems keep coming back.
  • You're ready to lead at a higher level. You want to step back from the day-to-day operational detail and focus on what only you can do.

What We Build Together

Every engagement starts with a proper understanding of where you and your operations are right now. From there, the work is scoped around what your business actually needs.

Here's what this kind of engagement typically produces over time:

  • An operational infrastructure that runs without you at the centre of it.
  • Systems and processes that are documented, navigable, and built to outlast any individual on your team.
  • Visibility across your operations so decisions get made on real information.
  • A team that knows what they own and how to do it.
  • The space for you to lead at the level your business needs you at.

This is not a quick fix. It's a relationship and the businesses that get the most from it are the ones that are ready to commit to building something that lasts.
